EA NHL and Adidas required a captivating launch video for EA 2020, showcasing exceptional gameplay, all-star athletes from the NBA and NFL participating in NHL, and featuring the Adidas capsule collection designed for these unique players.
The Answer:
In partnership with Laundry, I led the conceptualization and creative direction for an animated short. The video combined the excitement of character gameplay intros with a graphic twist on stylized gameplay footage. We focused on highlighting top Adidas athletes making a crossover into the NHL world, creating a narrative that resonates not only within hockey culture but also extends beyond it.
