The Ask:
Coca Cola tasked the Lambesis agency with the creation of the PlantBottle brand, starting with Dasani, requiring a fresh approach to branding and communication.
The Answer:
As the lead copywriter, I was instrumental in shaping the voice of the PlantBottle brand. I created the impactful tagline "Better by Design" and wrote the voiceover for the national broadcast spots. My role involved ensuring that the brand messaging was not only clear and engaging but also aligned with Coca Cola's broader environmental initiatives.
The Result:
Coca Cola was highly impressed with the Lambesis agency's work on the PlantBottle project. The success of this campaign led to extended contracts, including work for Coke Zero, and played a significant role in elevating the overall perception of the Coca Cola brand, tying in seamlessly with the "Open Happiness" campaign. A personal highlight of this project was seeing my copy and the "Better by Design" tagline, which I coined, being used across all PlantBottle products, extending even to other brands like Heinz. Five years later, the tagline remains a core part of the brand's identity.
